Nutrition Services

Nutrition education and counseling provides a non-judgmental environment for making peace with food, exercise and oneself.
Facing food and related fears can be one of the most challenging, but liberating facets of recovery from an eating disorder. Nutrition counseling provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with a dietitian to create a customized nutrition plan for recovery. This includes work toward meeting essential nutrition needs, exploring food and weight-related myths, reducing eating disorder symptoms, and ultimately returning to "normal" eating.
