Psychological Services
Psychological treatment can come in many different forms. Choosing the right treatment modality is an important part of the journey. Dr. Stokes is dedicated to meeting the needs of client's seeking mental health services and personal growth.
Many psychological conditions such as anxiety, depression, mood disturbance, and substance abuse are contributing factors in the development of disordered eating behaviors. For some individuals, emotional difficulties may develop secondary to an eating disorder. Psychotherapy provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with a psychologist to identify and address the root contributors that are interfering with the individual's personal development and healthy psychological functioning.
