Dr. Rachel Stokes, Psychologist
Dr. Rachel Stokes is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 18 years of experience working in mental health treatment centers and private practice settings. Dr. Stokes is passionate about helping individuals in their process of personal change and growth. She works closely with clients who are addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, body image concerns, and other psychological difficulties. Dr. Stokes provides several types of psychological testing including bariatric evaluations, personality assessment and cognitive assessment. Originally from Florida, Dr. Stokes received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. For over a decade, Dr. Stokes served as the director of the LSU Student Health Center, Eating Disorder Treatment Team. She is the owner and founder of Louisiana Center for Disordered Eating, LLC where she provides treatment for eating disorders and body image concerns.
Vanessa Richard, RD, LDN Nutritionist
Vanessa is a registered dietitian specializing in eating disorders, weight management, lifestyle nutrition, and intuitive eating. Her work with clients includes providing individual nutrition assessment, education, and counseling. Her goal is to assist individuals through their journey of recovery by improving their relationship and ultimately making peace with food. Vanessa is a native of Baton Rouge. She received her bachelor of science in Dietetics at Louisiana State University and completed a postgraduate dietetic internship at the University of Houston. Her previous experience includes eight years of practice as a wellness dietitian at the LSU Student Health Center, where she was a lead member of a multidisciplinary Eating Disorders Treatment Team. Vanessa has also worked as a
clinical dietitian specializing in cardiac and pediatric acute
care nutrition and pediatric critical care nutrition.
Zannah Richard, RD, LDN, Nutritionist
Zannah is a registered dietitian and native of Lafayette, Louisiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Zannah also graduated with a Master of Science in Nutritional Sciences and completed a dietetic internship at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. During her internship program Zannah gained experience during a variety of rotations in clinical, food service, community, and research settings. She has consulted with patients and provided medical nutrition therapy for inpatient and outpatient clinical areas including but not limited to, eating disorders, pediatrics, diabetes, cardiovascular, renal, bariatric surgery and cancer.
